Inspección del cable
Inspeccione el cable en busca de desgaste, corrosión, sobretensión,
vibracionesyveriquequenohayabordescortantesuotrosefectos
adversos en el entorno circundante. Durante inspección debe tener en
cuenta el impacto de envejecimiento o la vibración continua del compre-
sor y el ventilador.
Inspección en busca de fugas de refrigerante R32
Nota: Inspeccione en busca de fugas de refrigerante en un entorno donde
no haya potenciales fuentes de ignición. No emplee sondas halógenas (ni
cualquier otra sonda que use llama abierta).
Método de detección de fugas:
Para sistemas con refrigerante R32, existen instrumentos de detección
de fugas y la detección no debe realizarse en un entorno con refrigerante.
Asegure que el detector de fugas no se convierta en una posible fuente
de ignición, y de que sea adecuado para el refrigerante a medir. El detec-
tor de fugas deberá ser ajustado para detectar la mínima concentración
(porcentaje)decombustibleinamabledelrefrigerante.Calibreyajuste
la concentración de gas adecuada (no más de 25 %) para el refrigerante
usado.
El líquido empleado en la detección de fugas es aplicable a la mayoría de
los refrigerantes. No use cloruro, para prevenir la reacción entre el cloro y
los refrigerantes y la corrosión de tuberías de cobre.
Si sospecha que hay una fuga, retire todas las fuentes de fuego del área o
apague los fuegos.
En caso de que la ubicación de la fuga deba ser soldada, todos los refri-
gerantes deben ser recuperados, o bien, debe aislar todos los refrigeran-
tes del área de la fuga (empleando la válvula de cierre). Antes y durante la
