5-2. Stappen die genomen moeten worden in noodgevallen

Als uw auto in geval van nood tot stilstand moet worden gebracht
Breng de auto alleen in noodgevallen, bijvoorbeeld wanneer de auto niet
op de normale manier stilgezet kan worden, als volgt tot stilstand:
Trap het rempedaal met beide voeten stevig in.
Rem niet “pompend”; hierdoor is meer kracht nodig om de auto tot
stilstand te brengen.
Zet de selectiehendel in stand N.
Als de selectiehendel in stand N is gezet
Breng de auto, zodra hij voldoende is afgeremd, op een veilige
plaats langs de weg tot stilstand.
Schakel de motor (behalve hybrideauto) of het hybridesys-
teem (hybrideauto) uit.
Als de selectiehendel niet in stand N gezet kan worden
Blijf het rempedaal met beide voeten intrappen om zo veel
mogelijk vaart te minderen.
Behalve hybrideauto (auto's
zonder Smart entry-systeem en
startknop): Schakel de motor uit
door het contact in stand ACC
te zetten.
Hybrideauto (auto's zonder
elektronische sleutel): Schakel
het hybridesysteem uit door het
contact in stand ACC te zetten.
