Voordat u gaat rijden

■ Als de 12V-accu leeg is, vervangen is of verwijderd is geweest
De benzinemotor stopt mogelijk niet, ook niet als de auto op het batterijpakket
(tractiebatterij) rijdt. Neem, als dit gedurende enkele dagen aanhoudt, contact op
met een Toyota-dealer of erkende reparateur.
■ Geluiden en trillingen die bij een hybrideauto voorkomen
Mogelijk zijn er geen motorgeluiden hoorbaar of trillingen voelbaar terwijl de auto
wel kan rijden. Activeer na het parkeren uit veiligheidsoverwegingen de parkeer-
rem en zet de selectiehendel in stand P.
De volgende geluiden of trillingen kunnen hoorbaar of voelbaar zijn als het hybri-
desysteem in werking is en deze duiden niet op een defect:
● Er kunnen motorgeluiden hoorbaar zijn uit het motorcompartiment.
● Bij het inschakelen of uitschakelen van het hybridesysteem kan er geluid
hoorbaar zijn dat afkomstig is van het batterijpakket (tractiebatterij) onder de
achterstoelen.
● Als de achterklep open is, kunnen er geluiden van het hybridesysteem hoor-
baar zijn.
● Als de benzinemotor start of stopt, bij rijden met lage snelheden of als de
motor met stationair toerental draait, kunnen er geluiden hoorbaar zijn van de
transmissie.
● Bij sterk accelereren kunnen er motorgeluiden hoorbaar zijn.
● Als het rempedaal wordt ingetrapt en het gaspedaal wordt losgelaten, kun-
nen er geluiden hoorbaar zijn die worden veroorzaakt door het regeneratief
remmen.
● Als de benzinemotor start of stopt, kunnen trillingen voelbaar zijn.
● U kunt via de ventilatieopening onder aan de zijkant van de linker achterstoel
geluid horen dat afkomstig is van de koelventilator.
■ Onderhoud, reparatie, recycling en afvoer
Neem contact op met een Toyota-dealer of erkende reparateur betreffende
onderhoud, reparatie, recycling en afvoer. Voer de auto niet zelf af.
