5-2. Stappen die genomen moeten worden in noodgevallen
VERSO-S_EE
Start de motor, schakel de airconditioning in en controleer of de
koelventilator van de radiateur draait en of er geen koelvloeistof
lekt uit de radiateur of de slangen.
De koelventilator gaat draaien als de airconditioning wordt ingeschakeld
direct na een koude start. Controleer of de ventilator draait door ernaar
te luisteren en te voelen of er luchtstroom is. Schakel als u hier niet
zeker van bent de airconditioning nog een aantal keer in en uit.
(De ventilator werkt mogelijk niet bij temperaturen beneden het vries-
punt.)
Als de koelventilator niet draait:
Zet de motor onmiddellijk uit en laat uw auto zo snel mogelijk
nakijken door een Toyota-dealer of erkende reparateur.
Als de koelventilator draait:
Laat de auto nakijken door de dichtstbijzijnde Toyota-dealer of
erkende reparateur.
WAARSCHUWING
■ Een ongeval of letsel voorkomen bij controles in de motorruimte van uw
auto
● Als er stoom onder de motorkap vandaan komt, open de motorkap dan niet
voordat de stoom is verdwenen. De motorruimte kan zeer heet zijn, wat ernstig
letsel als brandwonden kan veroorzaken.
● Houd uw handen en kleding (met name stropdassen, sjaals en dassen) uit de
buurt van de ventilatoren en aandrijfriemen. Anders kan dit ernstig letsel tot
gevolg hebben.

● Draai de radiateurdop of de dop van het
koelvloeistofreservoir niet los als de motor
en de radiateur heet zijn.
De hete koelvloeistof en stoom die uit het
onder druk staande systeem naar buiten
kunnen spuiten, kunnen ernstig letsel,
zoals brandwonden, veroorzaken.
