5-2. Stappen die genomen moeten worden in noodgevallen

■ Uitzetten van de motor
Auto's met Multidrive CVT: Zet de selectiehendel in stand P en druk op de start-
knop zoals u normaal doet bij het afzetten van de motor.
Behalve auto's met Multidrive CVT: Zet de selectiehendel in stand N en druk op
de startknop zoals u normaal doet bij het afzetten van de motor.
■ Vervangen van de sleutelbatterij
Omdat deze procedure een noodmaatregel is, wordt geadviseerd de batterij van
de elektronische sleutel zo snel mogelijk te laten vervangen als deze ontladen is.
(→Blz. 393)
■ Alarm (indien aanwezig)
Het alarmsysteem wordt niet ingeschakeld als de mechanische sleutel wordt
gebruikt om de portieren te vergrendelen.
Het alarm kan worden geactiveerd als een portier met de mechanische sleutel
wordt ontgrendeld terwijl het alarmsysteem is ingeschakeld. (→Blz. 113)
■ Als de portieren niet kunnen worden vergrendeld of ontgrendeld met het
Smart entry-systeem met startknop
Vergrendel en ontgrendel de portieren met de mechanische sleutel of afstands-
bediening.
■ Als de elektronische sleutel niet goed werkt
Controleer of het Smart entry-systeem met startknop niet is uitgeschakeld via de
persoonlijke voorkeursinstellingen. Is de functie uitgeschakeld, schakel hem dan
in. (Systemen met mogelijkheden voor persoonlijke voorkeursinstellingen
→Blz. 522)
■ Wijzigen van de stand van het contact (als het Smart entry-systeem met
startknop is uitgeschakeld via de persoonlijke voorkeursinstellingen)
Laat bij hierboven het rempedaal (behalve bij handgeschakelde trans-
missies) of het koppelingspedaal (bij handgeschakelde transmissies) los en druk
de startknop in.
De motor wordt niet gestart en de stand verandert iedere keer dat de knop wordt
ingedrukt. (→Blz. 174)
