5-2. Stappen die genomen moeten worden in noodgevallen

■ Als het motorcontrolelampje tijdens het rijden gaat branden

Bij sommige uitvoeringen gaat het motorcontrolelampje branden als de brand-

stoftank geheel leeg gereden is. Als de brandstoftank leeg is, vul deze dan zo

snel mogelijk. Het motorcontrolelampje gaat na enkele ritten weer uit.

Laat de auto zo snel mogelijk nakijken door een Toyota-dealer of erkende repa-

rateur als het motorcontrolelampje niet uitgaat.

■ Detectiesensor passagier en waarschuwingszoemer passagiersgordel

● Als er bagage wordt geplaatst op de passagiersstoel kan de detectiesensor

het waarschuwingslampje laten knipperen, ook al zit er niemand op de pas-

sagiersstoel.

● Als er op de stoel een kussen wordt geplaatst, werkt de sensor wellicht niet

goed, waardoor ook het waarschuwingslampje niet goed werkt.

■ Wanneer het waarschuwingslampje motorolie verversen knippert (alleen

dieselmotor)

Het veelvuldig rijden van korte afstanden en/of rijden met lage snelheden kan

ertoe leiden dat de olie sneller veroudert dan normaal, ongeacht de afgelegde

afstand. Als dat geval is, zal het waarschuwingslampje motorolie verversen gaan

knipperen.

■ Waarschuwingslampje motorolie verversen gaat branden (alleen dieselmo-

tor)

Vervang de motorolie en het oliefilter als het waarschuwingslampje motorolie

verversen niet gaat branden als u meer dan 15.000 km hebt gereden nadat de

motorolie is ververst.

Mogelijk is het waarschuwingslampje motorolie verversen gaan branden als u

minder dan 15.000 km hebt gereden op basis van een gebruiks- of rijomstandig-

heid.

■ Waarschuwingslampje elektrische stuurbekrachtiging (waarschuwings-

zoemer)

Het waarschuwingslampje elektrische stuurbekrachtiging kan gaan branden en

de waarschuwingszoemer kan gaan klinken als de spanning laag is of als er

sprake is van een spanningsval.
