Onderhoud en verzorging

■ Motorolie bijvullen
Als het oliepeil onder het onderste
merkteken of er net boven ligt,
moet u olie bijvullen van het type
zoals hierna is vermeld, of van
hetzelfde type als waarmee de
motor eerder werd gevuld.
Controleer welke kwaliteit motorolie wordt voorgeschreven en leg de
benodigdheden voor het bijvullen klaar.
Verwijder de olievuldop door deze linksom te draaien.
Giet beetje voor beetje motorolie in de vulopening en controleer
ondertussen het oliepeil steeds door middel van de peilstok.
Plaats de olievuldop door deze rechtsom te draaien.

■ Motorolieverbruik
Er kan tijdens het rijden een bepaalde hoeveelheid olie worden verbruikt. In de
volgende situaties verbruikt de motor mogelijk meer olie en kan het nodig zijn om
tussen twee onderhoudsbeurten olie bij te vullen.
● Als de motor nog nieuw is, bijvoorbeeld direct na aanschaf van de auto of
nadat de motor is vervangen
● Als een lagere kwaliteit motorolie of motorolie met een verkeerde viscositeit
wordt gebruikt
● Bij het rijden met hoge motortoerentallen, met een zwaar beladen auto, met
een aanhangwagen of bij veelvuldig optrekken en afremmen
● Als de motor langdurig stationair draait, of bij veelvuldig rijden in druk verkeer
