Onderhoud en reparatie

Om veilig en economisch te kunnen rijden is het van essentieel belang

dat uw auto goed verzorgd en onderhouden wordt. Toyota raadt u aan

uw auto als volgt te onderhouden:

■ Periodiek onderhoud

Laat het onderhoud aan uw auto uitvoeren volgens het onder-

houdsschema.

Zie het onderhouds- en garantieboekje voor het onderhoudsschema.

■ Onderhoud en controles zelf uitvoeren

Kan de bestuurder zelf onderhoud en controles uitvoeren?

Als u een beetje technisch inzicht en wat eenvoudig gereedschap hebt,

zijn veel onderhoudswerkzaamheden en reparaties zelf uit te voeren.

Houd er echter rekening mee dat voor bepaalde werkzaamheden speci-

aal gereedschap en kennis benodigd zijn. Dit soort werkzaamheden kunt

u beter overlaten aan een Toyota-dealer of erkende reparateur. Zelfs als u

een ervaren doe-het-zelfmonteur bent, raden wij u aan om reparaties en

onderhoud door een Toyota-dealer of erkende reparateur te laten uitvoe-

ren. Een Toyota-dealer of erkende reparateur houdt de onderhoudshisto-

rie van uw Toyota bij, wat handig kan zijn als u ooit werkzaamheden moet

laten uitvoeren die onder de garantie vallen. Indien u de onderhoudswerk-

zaamheden door een andere dan een Toyota-dealer of erkende repara-

teur laat uitvoeren, raden wij u aan te vragen of de onderhoudshistorie

kan worden bijgehouden.
