1-8. Veiligheidsinformatie

WAARSCHUWING
■ Voorzorgsmaatregelen bij baby- en kinderzitjes
● Laat een kind niet met het hoofd of een ander lichaamsdeel tegen het por-
tier leunen of tegen dat deel van de stoel, de voor- en achterstijl of de dak-
stijl leunen waarin de side airbag of de curtain airbag is ondergebracht,
ook niet als het kind in een baby- of kinderzitje zit. Anders kan het kind
ernstig letsel oplopen als bij een aanrijding de side airbags of de curtain
airbags worden geactiveerd.
● Volg bij het plaatsen van een veiligheidssysteem voor kinderen altijd de
gebruiksaanwijzing van de fabrikant en controleer na het plaatsen van het
zitje of het stevig is bevestigd. Als het zitje niet stevig vastzit, kan het kind
bij hard remmen of uitwijken of bij een aanrijding letsel oplopen.
■ Als er kinderen in de auto aanwezig zijn
Laat kinderen niet met de veiligheidsgordel spelen. Als de veiligheidsgordel
om de nek van het kind draait, kan het kind stikken of ernstig letsel oplopen.
Als de gordelsluiting niet kan worden losgemaakt, knip de gordel dan door
met een schaar.
■ Als het baby- of kinderzitje niet in gebruik is
● Laat het baby- of kinderzitje goed vastzitten op de stoel, zelfs als het niet
wordt gebruikt. Plaats het baby- of kinderzitje niet los in het passagiers-
compartiment.
● Als het baby- of kinderzitje moet worden losgemaakt, verwijder het dan uit
de auto of berg het veilig op in de bagageruimte. Dit voorkomt dat inzitten-
den hierdoor bij hard remmen of uitwijken of bij een aanrijding letsel oplo-
pen.
