1-3. Openen, sluiten en vergrendelen van de portieren

■ De mechanische sleutel gebruiken
De portieren kunnen ook worden vergrendeld en ontgrendeld met de
mechanische sleutel. (→Blz. 501)
■ Als een verkeerde sleutel wordt gebruikt
De slotcilinder zal vrij kunnen draaien.
■ Persoonlijke voorkeursinstellingen
Bepaalde instellingen (bijvoorbeeld de ontgrendelfunctie met behulp van
een sleutel) kunnen worden gewijzigd.

WAARSCHUWING
■ Voorkom ongevallen
Neem bij het rijden met de auto de volgende voorzorgsmaatregelen in acht.
Het niet in acht nemen van deze voorzorgsmaatregelen kan ertoe leiden dat
er per ongeluk een portier wordt geopend en dat er iemand uit de auto valt,
waardoor ernstig letsel kan ontstaan.
● Draag altijd de veiligheidsgordel.
● Controleer of alle portieren volledig gesloten zijn.
● Trek tijdens het rijden niet aan de portiergreep.
De portieren worden dan mogelijk geopend, waardoor passagiers uit de
auto kunnen vallen en ernstig letsel kunnen oplopen.
Wees vooral voorzichtig bij de voorportieren. Deze portieren kunnen zelfs
worden geopend als de vergrendelknoppen in de stand vergrendeld staan.
● Activeer de kindersloten op de achterportieren als er kinderen achter in de
auto vervoerd worden.
■ Als een portier wordt geopend of gesloten
Controleer de omgeving van de auto; let er bijvoorbeeld op of de auto op
een helling staat, of er voldoende ruimte is om het portier te openen en of
het hard waait. Houd bij het openen of sluiten van het portier de portiergreep
goed vast, zodat u bent voorbereid op eventuele onverwachte bewegingen.
