WAARSCHUWING
■ Bij het losnemen van de 12V-accuklemmen
Verwijder altijd eerst de minkabel (-). Als de pluspool (+) bij het verwijderen
in contact komt metalen onderdelen in de buurt, kunnen er vonken ontstaan
waardoor brand kan ontstaan. Ook kunt u een elektrische schok krijgen en
ernstig letsel oplopen.
■ Voorkomen van brand en explosie van de 12V-accu
Neem de volgende voorzorgsmaatregelen in acht om te voorkomen dat het
licht ontvlambare gas dat uit de 12V-accu kan komen, per ongeluk tot ont-
branding komt:
● Zorg ervoor dat de startkabel aangesloten wordt op de juiste accupool en
niet per ongeluk in aanraking komt met een ander onderdeel dan de
bedoelde accupool.
● Zorg ervoor dat de op de “+”-pool aangesloten startkabel niet in contact
komt met andere onderdelen of metalen oppervlakken, zoals metalen
steunen en ongelakt metaal.
● Laat de “+” en “-” klemmen van de startkabels niet in contact komen met
elkaar.
● Rook niet en gebruik geen lucifers, aanstekers en open vuur in de buurt
van de 12V-accu.
■ Voorzorgsmaatregelen 12V-accu
De 12V-accu bevat giftige en corrosieve elektrolyt en de onderdelen van de
accu bevatten lood en loodhoudende samenstellingen. Neem bij het
omgaan met de 12V-accu de volgende voorzorgsmaatregelen in acht:
● Draag bij het werken met de 12V-accu altijd een veiligheidsbril en zorg
ervoor dat de accuvloeistof niet in contact komt met de huid, kleding of de
carrosserie van de auto.
● Leun niet over de 12V-accu heen.
● Was accuvloeistof, die op de huid of in de ogen terecht is gekomen, direct
weg met water en raadpleeg een arts.
Bedek de plaats waar de accuvloeistof op terechtgekomen is met een
natte spons of doek totdat er medische hulp kan worden verkregen.
● Was altijd uw handen nadat u de accudrager, de accupolen en andere
accu-gerelateerde onderdelen hebt aangeraakt.
● Houd kinderen uit de buurt van de 12V-accu.
