Bij problemen
■ Waarschuwingslampje (waarschuwingszoemer) elektrische stuurbe-
krachtiging
Als de spanning van de 12V-accu laag is of tijdelijk daalt, kan het waarschu-
wingslampje van de elektrische stuurbekrachtiging gaan branden en kan er
een waarschuwingszoemer klinken.
■ Als het motorcontrolelampje tijdens het rijden gaat branden
Bij sommige uitvoeringen gaat het motorcontrolelampje branden als de
brandstoftank geheel leeg gereden is. Vul de brandstoftank onmiddellijk als
deze leeg is. Het motorcontrolelampje gaat na enkele ritten weer uit.
Neem contact op met een erkende Toyota-dealer of hersteller/reparateur of
een andere naar behoren gekwalificeerde en uitgeruste deskundige als het
motorcontrolelampje niet uitgaat.
■ Detectiesensor voorpassagier, controlelampje veiligheidsgordel en
waarschuwingszoemer
● Als er bagage wordt geplaatst op de passagiersstoel kan de detectiesensor
het controlelampje laten knipperen en de waarschuwingszoemer laten klin-
ken, ook al zit er niemand op de passagiersstoel.
● Als er op de stoel een kussen wordt geplaatst, werkt de sensor wellicht niet
goed, waardoor ook het waarschuwingslampje niet goed werkt.
■ Als het waarschuwingslampje lage bandenspanning gaat branden
Controleer het uiterlijk van de band om na te gaan of de band niet lek is.
Als de band lek is: →Blz. 659, 679
Als de band niet lek is:
Gebruik de volgende procedure wanneer de banden voldoende zijn afge-
koeld.
● Controleer de bandenspanning en breng hem op het juiste niveau.
● Als het waarschuwingslampje zelfs na enkele minuten niet uitgaat, contro-
leer dan of de bandenspanning in orde is en voer de initialisatie uit.

Het waarschuwingslampje kan weer gaan branden wanneer bovenstaande
handelingen zijn uitgevoerd zonder eerst de banden voldoende te laten
afkoelen.
