4-1. Voordat u gaat rijden

OPMERKING
■ Tijdens het rijden (auto's met handgeschakelde transmissie)
● Trap tijdens het rijden niet tegelijkertijd het gaspedaal en het rempedaal in,
anders neemt het aandrijfkoppel mogelijk af.
● Schakel alleen een andere versnelling in als het koppelingspedaal hele-
maal is ingetrapt. Laat na het schakelen het koppelingspedaal geleidelijk
opkomen. Anders kunnen de k oppeling en de transmiss ie beschadigd
raken.
● Let op het volgende om te voorkomen dat de koppeling beschadigd raakt.
• Laat de voet tijdens het rijden niet op het koppelingspedaal rusten.
Dit kan overmatige slijt age van het koppelingspedaal tot gevolg heb-
ben.
• Gebruik voor het wegrijden alleen de 1e versnelling.
Anders kan de koppeling beschadigd raken.
• Gebruik de koppeling niet om de auto op een helling stil te laten staan.
Anders kan de koppeling beschadigd raken.
● Zet de selectiehendel niet in stand R terwijl de auto nog rijdt. Anders kun-
nen de koppeling en de transmissie beschadigd raken.
■ Bij het parkeren van de auto (auto's met Multidrive CVT)
Zet de selectiehendel altijd in st and P. Anders kan de auto onverwacht s
accelereren als het gaspedaal per ongeluk wordt ingetrapt.
■ Vermijd schade aan onderdelen van de auto
● Draai het stuurwiel niet gedurende langere tijd in een van beide richtingen
tegen de aanslag aan.
Hierdoor kan schade aan de stuurbekrachtigingspomp ontstaan.
● Rijd zo langzaam mogelijk over onef fenheden in de weg om schade aan
de wielen, de onderzijde van de auto, enz., te vermijden.
● Dieselmotor: Laat de motor na het rijden met hoge snelheden of het oprij-
den van een helling stationair draaien. Zet de motor pas af als de turbo is
afgekoeld.
Anders kan de turbo beschadigd raken.
