PLEASE NOTE
1. Never open the cover forcibly when the
indicating valve has not been released.
2. If the pressure limiting valve has become
blocked during the cooking process, the pressure
must be reduced by the manual release valve.
Now open the cover and clear the valve by
rinsing it in water (see Fig 9 & 10).
3. Safety open-preventing valve: switch clockwise safety
valve with spanner, dismantle and clean (see Fig 10).
4. If the pressure cooker has not been used for
a period of time, always check the safety lock
before use.
5. While in operation, NEVER remove the pressure
limiting valve, do not put any weight on it or
use anything else, other than the pressure limiting
valve supplied.
6. In order to ensure safety, NEVER use any other
sealing ring, other than the sealing ring supplied.
7. Do not lift the manual release valve to lower
the pressure when cooking.
8. Whilst cooking, AVOID knocking the pressure
cooker as the contents are under pressure and
will damage the cooker. Should you experience
any problems, please take your pressure cooker
to the nearest service agent, or a suitably
qualified person.
MAINTENANCE
1. Don’t scrape the cooker surface with hard
material such as metal to avoid abrasion.
2. Don’t touch the cooker with other kinds of metal
to avoid electro chemical corrosion.
3. Don’t store food inside the cooker for a long time.
MAINTAINING THE SEAL (Fig 11.)
1. Remove the seal from the lid.
2. Wash the seal with hot water and detergent
to clean any debris from the seal.
3. Dry the seal thoroughly and replace it in the lid.
4. Replace the seal immediately if it is damaged
or has changed its shape.
5. We recommend that you change the seal
every one or two years depending on how
much you have used your pressure cooker.
