1. Reversing Automatic Document Feeder
(optional, MR-3018)
The stack of originals is scanned one sheet at a time. Both
sides of the originals can be scanned. A maximum of 100
sheets (80 g/m2 or 20 lb. Bond), 80 sheets (90 g/m2 or 28
lb. Bond) (or stack height 16 mm or 0.62”) can be placed in
one go. (The maximum number of sheets that can be set
may vary depending on the media type of the originals.)
2. Operator’s manual pocket (back side)
Keep the manual in this pocket.
3. Automatic duplexing unit
This unit makes copies on both sides of the paper. Open it
when paper jams occur.
4. Bypass tray
Use this to perform printing on special media types such
as OHP lm, waterproof paper, etc.
5. Paper feed cover
Open this cover when releasing paper misfed in the
drawer feeding area.
6. Paper feed cover (optional)
Open this cover when releasing paper misfed in the Paper
Feed Pedestal (optional) or Large Capacity Feeder (optional).
7. Paper size indicator
8. Paper Feed Pedestal (optional, KD-1023) and
Additional Drawer Module (optional, MY-1032)
or Large Capacity Feeder (optional, KD-1024)
9. Drawer
A maximum of 550 sheets (80 g/m2 or 20 lb. Bond) or 500
sheets (105 g/m2 or 28 lb. Bond) of plain paper can be
placed in one go.
10. Front cover
Open this cover when you replace the toner cartridge and
clean the charger.
11. Main power switch
Use this switch to turn the power of the equipment ON or OFF.

12. USB port
Use this connector when printing les stored in a USB
device or storing scanned data into the USB device.
13. USB terminal (4-pin)
Use this terminal when connecting this equipment to a PC
with a commercially available USB cable.
14. Network interface connector
Use this connector when connecting this equipment to a
network.
