The Parental Control feature allows the blocking of
programmes according to their rating levels. It will only be
available when a PIN number has been set.

From the DTV Settings menu press

to select
Parental Control and press OK.

Use

to choose between None and an
age rating (4 to 18).
To activate the Parental Controls switch the
television off then on again.
To view a blocked programme the PIN number
will now have to be entered.

In order to prevent viewing of unsuitable films and programmes, channels and menus can be locked. These
can then only be accessed with a security code PIN when in digital mode.

Press MENU and

to select the SETUP menu.
Press

to select DTV Settings then press OK.
Use
e
to select PIN Setting then press OK.

Using the number buttons enter a four digit
number, when these have been entered they will
need to be confirmed by entering them again.
The PIN number has now been set.
If the PIN number has been set a prompt will
appear requiring the PIN number to be entered
before television settings (i.e. Auto Tuning,
Reset TV etc.) can be altered.

From the DTV Settings menu press

to select
Channel Options and press OK.
Use

f
to highlight channels, then press
x
to select the ‘lock’ option.
Press OK to select, a tick will appear in the box.
Press EXIT.
The PIN must now be entered before the locked
channels can be accessed.
