5.7 Copying the Phone Book from the Phonemaster 180 to the SIM card
• Remove the Card holder at the left side of the Phonemaster 180.
• Put the SIM card of your mobile in the card holder with the metallic contacts upwards.
• Put the Card holder back in the phone.
• Press the SIM button briefly.
• Enter the PIN code of the SIM card.
• Press OK to confirm.
• Select ‘COPY’ by means of the Up or Down Button .
• Press OK to confirm.
• Select ‘PHONE TO SIM’ by means of the Up or Down button .
• Press OK to confirm.
• The display shows ‘WAIT’ until all the numbers of the Phone Book from the Phonemaster 180 are
copied to the SIM card.
• Press and hold the Erase button Ø for 5 seconds to leave the menu.
5.8 Dialling a telephone number directly out of the Phone Book of the SIM card
• Remove the Card holder at the left side of the Phonemaster 180.
• Put the SIM card of your mobile in the card holder with the metallic contacts upwards.
• Put the Card holder back in the phone.
• Press the SIM button briefly.
• Enter the PIN code of the SIM card.
• Press OK to confirm.
• Select ‘VIEW’ by means of the Up or Down button .
• Press OK to confirm.
• The first number on the SIM card appears on the display.
Note: The telephone number on the display is the number that the telephone will dial. If you have entered an area
code, country code and PABX prefix according to the settings.
• Select the desired phone number by means of the Up and Down buttons .
• Press OK, the Handsfree button or pick up the handset. The telephone number will be dialled
automatically.
• If you want to leave the menu without dialling any number, press and hold the Erase button Ø
for 5 seconds.
5.9 Merging the Phone Book from the Phonemaster 180 with the SIM card
The Phonemaster 180 doesn’t have the possibility to change numbers and names directly on the SIM
card. Every modification must be done within the Phone Book of the Phonemaster 180. After you
have made the changes, you can merge the information of both Phone Books.
• Remove the Card holder at the left side of the Phonemaster 180.
• Put the SIM card of your mobile in the card holder with the metallic contacts upwards.
• Put the Card holder back in the phone.
