4.4 Erasing all calls
• Enter the Call list by pressing the Call List button .
• Press the Erase button Ø for 6 seconds until ‘DELETE ALL?’ appears on the display.
• Press the OK button to confirm.
• Press the Erase button Ø briefly if you want to leave the menu without erasing all numbers.
4.5 Saving a Caller ID telephone number in the Phone Book
You can save received telephone numbers with name in the Phone Book.
• Enter the Call list by pressing the Call List button .
• Look for the telephone number you wish to save in the Phone Book.
• Press the Phone Book button for 2 seconds until ‘STORE OK’ appears on the display.
• The phone number is now saved in the Phone Book where you can add a name to the number (3.6.6).
• Press the Erase button Ø briefly if you want to leave the Phone Book without saving the number.
5. SIM Card OPERATIONS
The Phonemaster 180 offers the possibility to exchange names and numbers from the Phone Book
of a mobile SIM card and from the Phone Book in the memory of the telephone.
Before exchanging the information, you have to take care of the following settings:
5.1 Setting the area code
When you make a phone call within your own area and you are not allowed to dial the area code,
you have to pre-program your own area number. As soon as you dial a telephone number of the
Phone Book, which starts with the pre-programmed area code, the digits from the area code will be
skipped.
Make sure to program the complete area code including the international prefix ‘0’ (if it exists).
Ex. You program ‘012’ as area code. If you select the number ‘012345678’ out of the Phone Book,
‘345678’ will be dialled.
• Press and hold the SIM button for 2 seconds until ‘AREA CODE’ appears on the display.
• Enter the area code by means of the numerical keypad. Wrongly entered numbers can be erased
by pushing the Erase button Ø.
• Press the Up button to confirm and to go to the setting of the country code.
• If you want to leave the menu, press and hold the Erase button Ø for more than
2 seconds.
You can find some examples in chapter 5.4.
Note: For countries without ‘0’ in front of the area code, just enter the area code without “0”.
