5.3 Norma de tensión arterial
Este dispositivo está equipado con un indicador de tensión arterial de la OMS que clasifica las medidas
de la tensión arterial en seis categorías (hipertensión óptima a grave) según la clasificación de la OMS
de los niveles de tensión arterial, tal como se muestra en el gráfico siguiente.
Después de cada medición, la pantalla LCD mostrará su posición de forma automática en los seis
segmentos del indicador, que corresponde al indicador de tensión arterial de la OMS

1. Hipertensión severa
2. Hipertensión moderada
3. Hipertensión leve
4. Valor sistólico normal
5. Presión arterial normal
6. Presión arterial óptima (valor deseado)
5.4 Detector de latidos irregulares (IHB)
El icono aparecerá en la pantalla para indicar cierta irregularidad en los latidos durante la
medición de la tensión. Un ritmo cardíaco superior o inferior al 25 % del ritmo cardíaco medio suele
definirse como un ritmo cardíaco irregular. Hablar, moverse, temblar o tener el pulso irregular durante
la medición puede hacer que aparezca este icono.
Aunque esto no suele ser motivo de preocupación, le recomendamos que consulte a su médico si este
símbolo aparece con frecuencia. Observe que el dispositivo no sustituye a un examen cardíaco, sino
que sirve para detectar irregularidades en el pulso en una fase temprana.
