Congratulations on the purchase of the Baby Bath Thermomoter 100. We hope you will
enjoy using the thermometer and the benefits it offers.
1 SAFETY NOTES
• Please read carefully through the following information concerning safety and
proper use. Make yourself familiar with all the functions of the equipment. Be
careful to keep these advice notes and if necessary pass them on to a third party.
• Do not allow children to take the bath temperature unattended.
• Never leave children alone and unsupervised in the bath.
• The bath thermometer is only a simple water temperature indicator. Always
check the temperature of the bath water with the back of your hand before
putting a child into a bath.
• Do not use the thermometer if it is broken or damaged.
• Do not place it into water when the temperature is higher than 70º C.
2HOW TO USE
Make sure that new batteries are installed and the battery compartment (2) is
closed correctly to avoid water insertion.
• Press the On/Off button (3) on the bottom of the unit.
The sensor (1) detects the room temperature and this
is displayed.
• Put the Bath Thermometer on the water. The LCD
displays the accurate water temperature within 90
seconds.
• When the water temperature ranges from 36º C to
38º C, the LED, under the display, lights persistently,
which means the temperature is suitable for bath.
The ideal water temperature for a baby bath is 37°C.
When the water temperature is higher than 70º C, the
LCD displays “Hi” and it displays “Lo” when the water temperature is lower
than 0º C.
• Press and hold the On/Off button (3) for two seconds to turn off the unit.

3 BATTERY REPLACEMENT
• Remove the battery compartment
cover carefully with a small coin (A).
• Install 2 x L1142 batteries (3V DC)
following the polarity as shown.
• Reposition the battery cover.
When LCD indication flashes, the
batteries must be replaced.
Batteries must be removed before disposing of the device.
Dispose of the batteries in an environmental manner according to your country
regulations.
4 CARE AND MAINTENANCE
• Clean the thermometer by using isopropyl alcohol or soap and water before and
after use.
• Store Bath Thermometer in a cool, dry place and away from direct sunlight while
not in use.
• Do not open the bath thermometer except to replace the battery.
• Do not drop the thermometer, as this may ruin the unit.
• Turn off the bath thermometer soon after use to save battery and prolong the
battery life.
5 DISPOSAL OF THE DEVICE
At the end of the product lifecycle, you should not throw this product into the
normal household garbage but bring the product to a collection point for the
recycling of electrical and electronic equipments. The symbol on the product,
user guide and/or box indicate this.
Some of the product materials can be re-used if you bring them to a recycling
point. By re-using some parts or raw materials from used products you make an
important contribution to the protection of the environment.
Please contact your local authorities in case you need more information on the
collection points in your area.

6 TOPCOM WARRANTY
6.1 Warranty period
The Topcom units have a 24-month warranty period. The warranty period starts on the
day the new unit is purchased. Consumables or defects causing a negligible effect on
operation or value of the equipment are not covered.
The warranty has to be proven by presentation of the original purchase receipt, on
which the date of purchase and the unit-model are indicated.
6.2 Warranty handling
A faulty unit needs to be returned to a Topcom service centre including a valid purchase
note.
If the unit develops a fault during the warranty period, Topcom or its officially appointed
service centre will repair any defects caused by material or manufacturing faults free of
charge.
Topcom will at its discretion fulfill its warranty obligations by either repairing or
exchanging the faulty units or parts of the faulty units. In case of replacement, colour
and model can be different from the original purchased unit.
The initial purchase date shall determine the start of the warranty period. The warranty
period is not extended if the unit is exchanged or repaired by Topcom or its appointed
service centres.
6.3 Warranty exclusions
Damage or defects caused by incorrect treatment or operation and damage resulting
from use of non-original parts or accessories not recommended by Topcom are not
covered by the warranty.
The warranty does not cover damage caused by outside factors, such as lightning,
water and fire, nor any damage caused during transportation.
No warranty can be claimed if the serial number on the units has been changed,
removed or rendered illegible.
This product is in compliance with the essential requirements and other relevant
provisions of the directive 89/336/EEC. This is confirmed by the CE-mark.

Gefeliciteerd met de aankoop van de babybadthermometer 100. Wij hopen dat deze
thermometer en de vele voordelen ervan u goede diensten zullen bewijzen.
1 VEILIGHEIDSVOORSCHRIFTEN
• Lees de volgende informatie over de veiligheid en een correct gebruik zorgvuldig
door. Leer alle functies van het toestel kennen. Bewaar deze instructies
zorgvuldig en geef ze indien nodig door aan derden.
• Laat kinderen niet zonder toezicht de badtemperatuur opnemen.
• Laat kinderen nooit alleen en zonder toezicht in het bad.
• De badthermometer geeft alleen op een eenvoudige manier de
watertemperatuur aan. Controleer de temperatuur van het badwater altijd met de
bovenkant van uw hand voordat u een kind in het bad plaatst.
• Gebruik de thermometer niet als hij kapot is of beschadigd.
• Gebruik de thermometer niet als de watertemperatuur hoger is dan 70ºC.
2 HOE GEBRUIKT U DE BADTHERMOMETER?
Controleer of de nieuwe batterijen geplaatst zijn en of het batterijvak (2) op de
juiste manier gesloten is, zodat er geen water in kan komen.
• Druk op de On/Off-toets (3) op de onderkant van de
thermometer. De sensor (1) meet de
kamertemperatuur en geeft deze weer.
• Leg de badthermometer op het water. De LCD geeft
binnen 90 seconden de precieze watertemperatuur
weer
• Als de watertemperatuur tussen 36ºC en 38ºC ligt,
blijft de LED onder de display branden, wat betekent
dat de temperatuur geschikt is om in te baden.
De ideale watertemperatuur voor een babybad is 37°C.
Als de watertemperatuur hoger is dan 70ºC, verschijnt
er op het LCD-scherm "Hi" en er komt "Lo" op te staan als de watertemperatuur
lager is dan 0ºC.
• Houd de On/Off-toets (3) gedurende twee seconden ingedrukt om de
thermometer uit te schakelen.

3 BATTERIJEN VERVANGEN
• Verwijder het afdekplaatje van het
batterijvak voorzichtig met een klein
muntstuk (A)
• Installeer de 2 x L1142-batterijen
(3V DC) volgens de aangegeven
polariteit.
• Plaats het afdekplaatje weer op het
batterijvak.
Als de LCD-indicator knippert, moeten de batterijen vervangen worden.
Verwijder de batterijen voordat u het toestel naar een inzamelpunt brengt.
Gooi de batterijen op een milieuvriendelijke manier weg volgens de regels die
gelden in uw land.
4 VERZORGING EN ONDERHOUD
• Reinig de thermometer met isopropanol of water en zeep voor en na gebruik.
• Bewaar de badthermometer als hij niet gebruikt wordt op een koele, droge plaats
waar geen zonlicht komt.
• Maak de badthermometer niet open, tenzij om de batterijen te vervangen.
• Laat de thermometer niet vallen, want hierdoor kan de thermometer beschadigd
worden.
• Zet de badthermometer na gebruik meteen uit om batterijen te sparen, zodat ze
langer meegaan.
5 HET TOESTEL VERWIJDEREN
Op het einde van de levenscyclus van het product mag u dit product niet met
het normale huishoudelijke afval weggooien, maar moet u het naar een
inzamelpunt brengen voor de recyclage van elektrische en elektronische
apparatuur. Dit wordt aangeduid door het symbool op het product, in de
handleiding en/of op de verpakking.
Sommige materialen van het product kunnen worden hergebruikt als u ze naar een
inzamelpunt brengt. Door onderdelen of grondstoffen van gebruikte producten te
hergebruiken, levert u een belangrijke bijdrage aan de bescherming van het milieu.
Wend u tot uw plaatselijke overheid voor meer informatie over de inzamelpunten in uw
buurt.

6 TOPCOM-GARANTIE
6.1 Garantieperiode
De Topcom-toestellen hebben een garantieperiode van 24 maanden. De garantieperiode
begint op de dag waarop het nieuwe toestel wordt gekocht. Kleine onderdelen of defecten
die een verwaarloosbaar effect hebben op de werking of waarde van het toestel worden
niet gedekt door de garantie.
De garantie moet worden bewezen door het kunnen voorleggen van de originele
aankoopbon waarop de aankoopdatum en het toestelmodel staan aangegeven.
6.2 Afwikkeling van garantieclaims
Een defect toestel moet worden geretourneerd aan het onderhoudscentrum van Topcom
samen met de aankoopbon.
Als het toestel defect raakt tijdens de garantieperiode, zal Topcom of een van haar
bevoegde onderhoudscentra de defecten ingevolge materiaal- of fabricagefouten
kostenloos repareren.
Topcom zal naar eigen inzicht voldoen aan haar garantieverplichtingen door de defecte
toestellen, of onderdelen ervan, te repareren of te vervangen. In het geval van vervanging
kunnen de kleur en het model verschillend zijn van het oorspronkelijk gekochte toestel.
De oorspronkelijke aankoopdatum is bepalend voor het begin van de garantieperiode. De
garantieperiode wordt niet verlengd als het toestel is vervangen of gerepareerd door
Topcom of een van haar bevoegde onderhoudscentra.
6.3 Garantiebeperkingen
Schade of defecten als gevolg van een onjuiste behandeling of onjuist gebruik en schade
als gevolg van het gebruik van niet-originele onderdelen of accessoires die niet worden
aanbevolen door Topcom, vallen buiten de garantie.
De garantie dekt geen schade te wijten aan externe factoren, zoals bliksem, water en
brand, noch enige transportschade.
Er kan geen aanspraak worden gemaakt op garantie als het serienummer op de toestellen
is veranderd, verwijderd of onleesbaar gemaakt.
Dit product voldoet aan de basiseisen en andere relevante bepalingen van richtlijn
89/336/EEC. Dit wordt bevestigd door de CE-markering.

1 NOTES DE SÉCURITÉ
• Veuillez lire attentivement les instructions suivantes relatives à la sécurité et
l'utilisation correcte du produit. Familiarisez-vous avec toutes les fonctions de
l'équipement. Veillez à conserver ces conseils et, si nécessaire, remettez-les à
une autre personne.
• Ne laissez pas les enfants prendre la température du bain sans surveillance.
• Ne laissez jamais les enfants seuls et sans surveillance dans le bain.
• Le thermomètre de bain est un simple indicateur de la température de l'eau.
Vérifiez toujours la température de l'eau du bain avec le dos de votre main avant
de mettre un enfant dans le bain.
• N'utilisez pas le thermomètre s'il est cassé ou endommagé.
• Ne le placez pas dans l'eau si la température est supérieure à 70°C.
2 COMMENT L'UTILISER ?
Assurez-vous que de nouvelles piles sont installées et que le compartiment des
piles (2) est fermé correctement afin d'éviter que de l'eau entre dans l'appareil.
• Appuyez sur la touche On/Off (3) située sur le fond
de l'appareil. Le capteur (1) détecte la température
ambiante et l'affiche.
• Mettez le thermomètre de bain dans l'eau. L'écran
LCD affiche la température précise de l'eau dans un
délai de 90 secondes.
• Si la température se situe entre 36°C et 38°C, la DEL
sous l'écran reste allumée, ce qui signifie que la
températire de l'eau est bonne pour le bain.
La température idéale pour le bain de bébé est de 37°C.
Si la température de l'eau dépasse 70°C, l'écran LCD
affiche « Hi » ; si la température est inférieure à 0°C, l'écran LCD affiche « Lo ».
• Pour éteindre l'appareil, appuyez sur la touche On/Off (3) et maintenez-la
enfoncée pendant deux secondes.

3 REMPLACEMENT DES PILES
• Retirez le couvercle du
compartiment des piles avec soin
en vous aidant d'une petite pièce de
monnaie (A)
• Installez 2 piles L1142 (3 V DC) en
respectant la polarité illustrée.
• Replacez le couvercle du
compartiment des piles.
Si l'écran LCD clignote, remplacez les piles. Avant de jeter l'appareil, retirez les
piles. Éliminez les piles de manière écologique, selon les réglementations en
vigueur dans votre pays.
4 ENTRETIEN ET MAINTENANCE
• Nettoyez le thermomètre à l'aide d'alcool isopropylique ou d'eau et de savon
avant et après l'emploi.
• Lorsque vous ne l'utilisez pas, rangez le thermomètre de bain dans un endroit
frais et sec, à l'abri de la lumière directe du soleil.
• N'ouvrez pas le thermomètre de bain, sauf pour remplacer les piles.
• Ne laissez pas tomber le thermomètre car vous risqueriez de l'endommager.
• Pour économiser la pile et prolonger sa durée de vie, éteignez le thermomètre
dès que vous avez fini de l'utiliser.
5 MISE AU REBUT DE L'APPAREIL
Au terme du cycle de vie de ce produit, ne le jetez pas avec les déchets
ménagers ordinaires mais déposez-le dans un point de collecte pour le
recyclage des équipements électriques et électroniques. Le symbole indiqué
sur ce produit, sur le mode d'emploi et/ou sur la boîte est là pour vous le
rappeler.
Certains matériaux qui composent le produit peuvent être réutilisés si vous les déposez
dans un point de recyclage. En réutilisant certaines pièces ou matières premières de
produits usagés, vous contribuez fortement à la protection de l'environnement.

6 GARANTIE TOPCOM
6.1 Période de garantie
Les appareils de Topcom bénéficient d'une période de garantie de 24 mois. La période de
garantie commence le jour de l'achat du nouvel appareil. Les accessoires et les défauts
qui ont un effet négligeable sur le fonctionnement de l'appareil ne sont pas couverts.
La garantie doit être prouvée par la présentation du ticket original d'achat sur lequel sont
mentionnés la date de l'achat et le modèle de l'appareil.
6.2 Traitement de la garantie
Tout appareil défectueux doit être retourné à un centre de service après-vente Topcom
accompagné d'un ticket d'achat valable.
Si l'appareil tombe en panne pendant la période de garantie, Topcom ou son centre de
service après-vente officiel réparera gratuitement toute panne due à un défaut matériel ou
de fabrication.
Topcom assurera, à sa seule discrétion, ses obligations en matière de garantie en
réparant ou en remplaçant les appareils ou les pièces défectueux. En cas de
remplacement, la couleur et le modèle peuvent être différents de ceux de l'appareil acheté
initialement.
La date d'achat initiale détermine le début de la période de garantie. La période de
garantie n'est pas prolongée si l'appareil est remplacé ou réparé par Topcom ou par l'un
de ses centres de service après-vente officiels.
6.3 Exclusions de garantie
Les dommages et les pannes causés par un mauvais traitement ou une utilisation
incorrecte et les dommages qui résultent de l'utilisation de pièces et d'accessoires non
recommandés par Topcom ne sont pas couverts par la garantie.
La garantie ne couvre pas les dommages causés par des facteurs extérieurs tels que la
foudre, l'eau et le feu ni les dommages provoqués par le transport.
Aucune garantie ne peut être invoquée si le numéro de série indiqué sur les appareils a
été modifié, enlevé ou rendu illisible.
Ce produit est conforme aux conditions essentielles et aux autres dispositions pertinentes
de la directive 89/336/EEC. C’est confirmée par le label CE.
