• Do not place metal objects such as knives, forks, spoons and lids on

the surface of the hob. The items may become hot.

• Make sure that you switch o the appliance when removing a pan.

• Be careful not to drop items on the glass plate. The glass plate may

break as a result.

• Raw pan booms or damaged saucepans (not enamelled cast iron

pots) may damage the glass plate. Always li the pan o the

appliance, do not slide or it may scratch the glass.

• Sand or other abrasive materials may damage the glass plate.

• Do not hit the edges of the glass with saucepans.

• Do not put or leave empty saucepans on the hob.

• If the surface is cracked, switch o the appliance to avoid the risk of

an electric shock.

• Be aware of a fast heang me when you use the appliance at a high

power level. Always remain nearby aer adjusng a cooking zone to a

higher power level.

• The appliance complies with electromagnec safety standards.

• When using the inducon hob, always keep magnec objects (credit

cards, disks, watches, etc.) away from the appliance. We recommend

wearers of pacemakers or other electrical implants to consult their

doctor rst.

• If the mains cable is damaged, it may only be replaced by the

manufacturer, its service organisaon or similarly qualied persons,

in order to prevent hazardous situaons.
