ASSEMBLY
Before using the fan for the rst me, please proceed as follows: carefully unpack the appliance and all components and
remove all packaging material and any promoonal sckers. Keep the packaging (plasc bags and cardboard) out of the reach
of children. Aer unpacking the appliance, check it for external damage that may have occurred during transport.
Assemble the fan in accordance with the instrucons.
1. Start by placing the footplate at the foot of the fan. Tighten the wing nut [ a ] by a quarter turn to aach the footplate to the
foot.
2. Place the rear protecve guard on the fan.
3. Fasten it by ghtening the lock ring.
4. Insert the fan blade onto the fan. Test the fan blade by rotang it by hand. During rotaon,
the blade should not create any fricon with the lock ring. If it does, remove the fan and repeat all steps from the beginning.
5. Mount the fan blade with the fastening cap. Tighten the fastening cap by turning it to the le - counter-clockwise.
6. Place the front protecve guard on the fan and use the clamps to aach it to the rear protecve guard.
a. Align the front protecve guard with the rear protecve guard using the posioning clamp [ b ] on the
boom side in order to aach both parts to each other properly. Use the bolt and nut at the top of the guards to fasten
the guards to each other.
b. Press the clamps [ c ] downwards in order to aach the front and rear protecve guards to each other.
Place the fan on a flat, stable surface. Clean the exterior of the fan using a slightly damp cloth and then wipe it with a dry
cloth.
