Fax function (for tiptel 1/8 fax clip only)
Operation guide
1. When the fax function is on and extension 4 is occupied (for example by an internal
conversation) and if there is an incoming external call, then the fax function will not be
carried out. To ensure correct automatic functioning of the fax function extension 4 should
not be used when the fax function is on.
2. If the fax machine does not function properly, the fax function will be switched off auto-
matically after three unsuccessful attempts.
3. If you wish to send a fax from extension 4, then the fax machine needs to dial the CO line
code 0. Alternatively, it is possible to use automatic CO line access for extension 4.
4. To ensure that machines from various manufacturers function properly with the fax function,
the following requirements need to be fulfilled:
- Automatic connection to the telephone line after 1 or 2 ringing tones
- External calls with CO line code 0
