De wereldtijd is in de TX-fabriek ingesteld en hoeft na aankoop niet
bijgesteld te worden; alleen nadat de batterij door een erkende winke-
lier of met TX gelieerde onderneming vervangen is.
Het instellen van de wereldtijd bestaat uit het selecteren van een stad in
uw thuistijdzone en het instellen van de tijd voor die stad gelijk aan uw
plaatselijke tijd. Het horloge weet dan de tijd in alle andere steden.
De wereldtijd instellen:
1) Trek de kroon naar de middelste stand. De middelste wijzer toont de
stad in de wereldtijdzone en de bovenste wijzer toont de wereldtijd.

Wanneer het seizoen in één stad op ZOMER is ingesteld, worden alle
steden in hetzelfde halfrond automatisch op ZOMER ingesteld, terwijl
alle steden in het andere halfrond automatisch op WINTER worden
ingesteld. Het horloge weet welke steden in elk halfrond zijn.
VOORBEELD: In Australië en een groot deel van Europa wordt de tijd in
maart en oktober veranderd. Als Parijs als de stad gekozen is, selecteert
u WINTER tussen oktober en maart. Selecteer ZOMER tussen maart en
oktober. Wanneer de stad in Sydney wordt veranderd, verandert de
aanduiding van het seizoen automatisch in het tegengestelde van de
aanduiding in Parijs, omdat Sydney in het andere halfrond is. Voor Tokio
is het seizoen hetzelfde als in Parijs, maar omdat Tokio geen zomertijd
heeft, is de seizoeninstelling niet van invloed op de tijd.
Steden in hetzelfde halfrond kunnen vanwege verschillende wetten op
verschillende data tussen WINTER- en ZOMER-tijd wisselen. Meestal is
de seizoeninstelling echter correct voor alle steden. Zie voor meer
