Steht das Tonarmrohr bei abgesenktem Lift parallel zur
Plattenoberfläche, so ist die Höhe korrekt eingestellt. Jetzt
Spannschraube anziehen und fertig.
5. Der Azimut
Der Azimut ist der Winkel zwischen Nadelträger und Schall-
platte und sollte 90° betragen, ansonsten kann der Abtast-
diamant die Rille nicht genau abtasten. Der Azimut kann
beim TP 250 nicht eingestellt werden. Verwenden Sie des-
halb nur Tonabnehmersysteme, die absolut exakt herge-
stellt wurden und einen korrekten Azimut besitzen.
6. Einstellen des Kröpfungswinkels
und des Überhangs
Der Kröpfungswinkel ist der Winkel, den die Längsachse
des Tonabnehmers mit der Tonarmachse einschließt. Bei al-
len Drehpunktarmen (wie unseren Thorens-Armen) liegen
die optimalen Werte zwischen 21° und 24°. Wir empfehlen
einen Kröpfungswinkel von 23° einzustellen.
Der Überhang ist die Strecke, die die Tonabnehmernadel
über die Plattentellerachsenmitte hinausragt. Der Über-
hang sollte auf 17 mm eingestellt werden.
Für beide Einstellungen benötigen Sie spezielle Schablo-
nen, die Sie bei Ihrem Fachhändler erwerben können
oder die dem Tonabnehmersystem beigelegt sind. Fixie-
ren Sie nach erfolgter Montage das Tonabnehmersystem
mit den Schrauben.
7. Einstellen der Auflage-
und Antiskatingkraft
Zur korrekten Einstellung der Auflagekraft muss der Antiska-
ting-Schieber auf der Tonarmbank auf „0“ stehen. Entfernen
Sie den Nadelschutz und schwenken Sie den Tonarm über
die Schallplatte bei noch angehobenem Lift. Bringen Sie
