7.4 Alarm functions
• This alarm clock has a light alarm (wake-up light) and an audible alarm. Both alarms can be set for the same time or for different times.
Example: The light alarm is set to 07:00 and the audible alarm to 07:00. At 06:30, the light turns on and gradually brightens up. At 07:00, the
audible alarm sounds.
7.4.1 Light alarm (wake-up light)
• The light alarm is a sunrise simulation with gradually brightening light 30 minutes before the set light alarm time. Waking up naturally with light
has a positive effect on energy hormones.
7.4.1.1 Light alarm time setting
• Press and hold the LIGHT ALARM button.
• The light alarm symbol will appear and the hour digit will be flashing.
• Press the +or –button to set the hours.
• Confirm with the LIGHT ALARM button.
• Set the minutes in the same way.
• Confirm the setting with the LIGHT ALARM button and return to normal mode.
• The light alarm is activated and the light alarm symbol appears on the display.
• 30 minutes before the set light alarm time is reached, the simulated sunrise begins with gradually brightening light.
7.4.2 Sound alarm
7.4.2.1 Alarm time setting
• Press and hold the ALARM button.
• The alarm symbol will appear and the hour digit will be flashing.
• Press the +or –button to set the hours.
• Confirm the setting with the ALARM button.
• Set the minutes in the same way.
• Confirm the setting with the ALARM button.
• You can set the snooze interval in the alarm mode.
• Press the +or –button to set the desired time duration – it adds 5 minutes at a time (5 to 120 minutes).
• Confirm the setting with the ALARM button and return to normal mode.
• The alarm is activated and the alarm symbol appears on the display.
• When the alarm time is reached, a melody will sound and increase gradually in volume. If the alarm is not stopped manually, the ascending alarm
sound automatically turns off after five minutes and the alarm will be reactivated at the same set time on the following day. The alarm symbol
remains on the display.
• Press any button to turn off the alarm sound or press the SNOOZE button to activate the snooze function.
• SNOOZE appears and the alarm will be interrupted for the set time.
• The time display counts down the seconds.
• Press any button to turn off the snooze function.
• If you select English, the display will now appear in English.
• Press the SET button and the setting sequence is shown as follows: The 24 or 12 hours display (default: FORMAT 24 Hr), hours, minutes, year,
month, date, month/day sequence D/M (default) or M/D and the temperature unit °C or °F (default: °C) and adjust with the +or –button.
• Confirm the settings with the SET button.
• THANK YOU appears on the display.
6.1 Instructions for the setting mode
• You can also start the setting mode manually later on. Press and hold the SET button in normal mode for three seconds.
• Press and hold the +or –button in setting mode for fast mode.
• Press the SNOOZE button in setting mode to return to normal mode.
• The device will automatically quit the setting mode if no button is pressed for 10 seconds.
• The device maintains operation in the event of blackout or other power failure for about 6 minutes so that no new setting has to be made.
7. Functions
7.1 LCD display light
7.1.1 Brightness
• Press the DISPLAY button to adjust the display brightness in 4 levels (BACKLIGHT 1-4) or to switch it off (OFF).
7.1.2 Automatic dimming mode
• If the auto dimming mode is activated, the weak backlight turns on automatically for the set time period.
• Press and hold the DISPLAY button for 2 seconds. AUTO DIM appears on the display.
• By default, the automatic dimming function is disabled. OFF flashes on the display.
• Press the +or –button to activate the function (ON). The AUTO DIM symbol appears on the display.
• Confirm with the DISPLAY button.
• The start time flashes (default 23:00). Press the +or –button to adjust the time (full hour).
• Confirm with the DISPLAY button.
• The end time flashes (default 6:00). Press the +or –button to adjust the time (full hour).
• Confirm the settings with the DISPLAY button.
7.2 Charging function
• Plug the USB cable into the USB port on the alarm clock and connect the other end to your mobile device. Make sure that the USB charging func-
tion is suitable for your mobile device (charging current 1A).
7.3 Temperature and humidity
• The actual temperature and humidity are displayed. In the setting mode you can change between °C (Celsius) or °F (Fahrenheit) as temperature
unit.
