Snow clearing
It is recommended that the snow is cleared in a specific pattern to make sure that the whole area
swept thoroughly. The two recommended patterns below ensure that all snow is swept in one go
thereby you will avoid to remove the snow that has already been removed.
Pattern 1: Throw the snow to the right or left side where it is possible, as on a long driveway it is
advantage to start in the middle. Plow from one end to the other, throwing snow to both sides.
Pattern 2: If the snow can only be thrown to one side of the driveway or sidewalk start on the
opposite side.
Position the discharger in safe direction and the right angle, away from you and bystanders. Direct
the snow to the right or to the left up and down by altering the chute mouth. It is recommended to
throw the snow downwind, and slightly overlap each round.
After clearing the snow, let the auger run for a couple of minutes so that the rotating parts doesn’t
freeze. Then switch off the motor, wait for all moving parts to stop, and wipe the ice and snow off
the appliance.
Warning! To avoid serious personal injury, do not use hands or feet to unclog chute.
Maintenance and storage
Frequent maintenance and cleaning will extend service life of the machine.
Always disconnect the power supply directly on the socket before conducting any
maintenance or repair.
Remove and clean snow, ice and debris from the auger and housings using a humid cloth
and a soft brush. Never wet or spray water on the machine!
Do not use detergents or solvents as these could cause irreparable damage to the
machine. Chemicals can destroy the plastic parts.
Lubricate the metal parts with environmentally friendly oil. This will prevent the parts
corrode during storage
Store the machine in a dry room out reach of kids.
