Operation
Texas GBV 300 is designed to blow leaves and similar together into a pile, after which
they can be vacuumed up into the bag.
The easiest way is therefore, first to blow the leafs together from different angles towards a
corner or a wall, and from there vacuum the leafs up.
1. Start the machine as described
2. Leave the engine to idle for a few seconds
3. Place the shoulder strap over your right shoulder
4. With your left hand, take the front handle. With your right hand, take the rear
handle.
5. Move the machine from side to side to vacuum/blow the leafs.
If using the vacuum function, place the lower tube a few centimetres from above the
ground. The closer towards the ground, the bigger effect. If the vacuum tube gets too close
to the ground, there is risk of sucking small stones up. Experiment with what height is most
effective and suitable.
Notice: Wet leaves is heavy and can “stick” to the ground, so it can be difficult to
blow/vacuum these away. This leaf blower performs better with dry leafs.
Do not try to vacuum broken glass pieces, stones, cans and other hard objects.
This can damage the machine!
Extra vacuum nozzle
This nozzle is suitable for use on e.g. the lawn, when leaves need to be removed.
To mount it on the leaf blower, push it into the lower blower tube.
The wheels on the nozzle can be adjusted in 3 heights (see figure 5):
1. Pull out both wheels, and move them into one of the 3 positions.
2. Release the wheels again, so they are locked into the chosen position.
Switch between vacuum and blower function
The machine is switched from vacuum to blow by
changing the position of the black handle – back or
forward.
Notice: The handle should be pressed fully into position.
If this is not possible, the air tube under the engine unit
and the impeller might be blocked with leafs.
