Omdat het bij de DMX 6Fire USB echter om een professionele audio-interface gaat, volgt
alleen de volumeregeling van het totaal en de ingangen 1/2 via de Windows-mixer. Dit is
eigenlijk alleen voor zogenaamde Voice-over-IP, dus internettelefonie-applicaties
belangrijk en anders moet men ingangen niet via de Windows-mixer regelen, omdat bij
een opname het signaal, vanwege digitale afzwakking, wordt verslechterd. De
volumeregeling in de mixer van de DMX 6Fire USB beïnvloedt alleen het software
monitoring-pad en het op te nemen signaal wordt onvervalst aan de opname-software
doorgegeven. Alle andere instellingen voert u a.u.b. uit in het Control Panel van de DMX-
software.
Installatie van de DMX 6Fire USB driver onder Windows Vista
1. Nadat u de meegeleverde installatie-CD heeft geplaatst, wordt automatisch de
Autostarter-software gestart. Wanneer de Autostarter niet wordt geopend, kunt u
handmatig starten door op „Autorun.exe“ in de root-directory van de CD te
dubbelklikken. De knop „Software installatie“ in de Autostarter installeert de DMX
6Fire USB driver en het control panel in uw besturingssysteem.
2. De installatie-assistent meldt nu, dat deze gereed is voor installatie.
