• Rest the appliance on a rm at surface.
• Place the iron on the boiler support base (9).
• Select the right temperature by turning the control knob (15) on the iron (gure 1).
• Completely unwind the power cord and plug into the outlet.
• Press the switch (3) to turn the iron on.
• The iron is ready to be used when the indicator light (16) goes out.
• The indicator light (16) on the iron will go on and out automatically while you are ironing
to show that the soleplate is being kept at a constant temperature.
• When you have nished ironing, press the switch (3) to turn the appliance off. Let the
iron cool down.
FOR DRY IRONING
WARNING!
Always unplug the iron from the outlet and wait for the appliance to completely
cool down before starting any cleaning operations.
Use a normal damp sponge to clean the aluminium soleplate, or else a non-metallic
kitchen scouring-pad for difcult stains.
Use only a damp cloth to clean the rest of the iron and the boiler shell.
Never immerse the appliance or parts of it into water or other liquid, do not use steam,
chemical or abrasive substances.
CLEANING
WARNING!
Always unplug the iron from the outlet before lling the boiler with water.
WHEN YOU HAVE FINISHED IRONING
• Turn the boiler off by pressing the proper switch (7).
• Press button (18) on the iron, until no more steam is being produced;
• Turn the iron off by pressing the proper switch (3).
• Unplug the appliance from the outlet.
• Rest the iron on the support base (9) and wait for the appliance to completely cool
down before carrying out any operations.
