CHOICE OF THE IRON TEMPERATURE
Rotate the iron temperature control knob (20) so that the proper
temperature corresponds to the indicator (22) according to the type of
cloth to be ironed (figure 1).L
FOR STEAM IRONING
HOW TO FILL THE BOILER WITH WATER
• Always unplug the iron from the outlet when filling the boiler with water.
• Unscrew the cap (16) counterclockwise and slowly pour the water
through the boiler opening using the provided funnel (17) to avoid
any leakage. Screw up the cap again clockwise.
• Only use running water to fill the boiler without exceeding its
maximum capacity: never add detergents, chemical additives or
water softeners.
• The maximum boiler capacity is 1,1 lt.
SUGGESTION: If water in your area is particularly calcareous, it
is advisable to use distilled water.
STARTING UP
• Rest the appliance on a firm flat surface.
• Place the iron on the boiler support base (14).
• Fill up the boiler as described in the previous paragraph.
• Completely unwind the power cord by drawing it out from its storage
(12) and plug into the outlet.
• Press the iron on/off push button (3) and the boiler on/off push button (9).
The respective “iron on” (4) and “boiler on” (7) indicator lights go on.
• Turn the iron temperature control knob (20) to the “steam ironing”
position.
