To “liven up” the clothes hung on cloth hangers, curtains,
ecc. you can vertically use the iron:
• Set the temperature control knob (9) to “max” indication
• Hold the iron in vertical position at a distance of about
15-20 cm from the fabric.
• Push the super steam button (5) several times.
NOTE
• Do not push the super steam button too many times consecutively
respecting the pauses of some seconds between one operation and
another one.
IMPORTANT
• Do not use this function on fabrics made up of synthetic fibres.
• Keep an adequate distance betwen the fabric and the iron plate to
avoid burnings.
• Use this function only on clothes hung on coat hangers. Do not try
to iron the clothes worn by a person: the steam is very hot, you
could cause serious burning.
VERTICAL IRONING
The iron is supplied with a self-cleaning system which allows
to reduce the formation of limestone deposits. To obtain the
benefits of this system it is necessary to carry out this
operation regularly at least once a month:
• Set the dry ironing function.
• Fill up the tank up to MAX (10) level.
• Make the iron function bringing the plate to the maximum temperature.
• Disconnect the plug from the current socket when the iron is ready.
• Position the control for the control for adjustbale dry/steam and self-
SELF-CLEANING SYSTEM
This system prevents the iron from dripping onto the linen.
The device intervenes automatically if, for whatever reason,
the temperature of the soleplate lowers.
