Su tessuti pesanti che si sfilacciano, il bordo grezzo
dovrà essere innanzitutto rammendato con punti
invisibili, quindi si dovrà piegare l’orlo, come mostrato
in figura, lasciando 0,7 cm del bordo dell’orlo a vista.
Posizionare il tessuto in modo tale che l’ago nella
propria posizione massima sinistra fori il bordo della
piega.
Terminato l’orlo, premere contemporaneamente i lati
del bordo finito. Sulla parte superiore del tessuto si
dovranno notare solamente i punti invisibili.
Orlo a conchiglia

➁ Tensionamento del filo nell’ago: da 6 a 8
➂ Piedino: piedino zigzag
Utilizzare un tessuto leggero, ad es. un tricot. Piegare e
cucire in diagonale.
Posizionare il bordo piegato lungo lo slot del piedino.
L’ago dovrà fuoriuscire dal bordo del tessuto, a destra,
formando una piega.

Inizio della cucitura
1 Collegare il piedino per occhielli. Identificare
accuratamente la lunghezza dell’occhiello sul tessuto.
Posizionare il tessuto sotto il piedino, tenendo
l’identificazione del foro del bottone verso di sé.
Spostare il corsoio (A) verso di sé in modo tale che
l’identificazione superiore (C) sul corsoio si allineai
all’identificazione iniziale (B). Abbassare il piedino.
2 Impostare il selettore punti su
Cucire in avanti fino a raggiungere l’identificazione
anteriore dell’occhiello. Interrompere la cucitura in un
punto a sinistra.
3 Impostare il selettore punti su Cucire da quattro
(4) a sei (6) punti. Interrompere la cucitura in un
punto a destra.
4 Impostare il selettore punti su Cucire fino a
ritornare all’identificazione iniziale dell’occhiello.
Interrompere la cucitura in un punto a destra.
5 Impostare il selettore punti su Cucire da quattro
(4) a sei (6) punti. Interrompere la cucitura in un
punto a sinistra.
6 Rimuovere il tessuto e posizionare uno spillo prima
dell’imbastitura su ogni estremità, in modo tale da
evitare di tagliare l’imbastitura. Tagliare l’apertura con
il dispositivo d’apertura dell’occhiello.
NOTA:
per cucire un occhiello sul bordo di un tessuto,
impostare il piedino scorrevole per occhielli, come
illustrato in figura, e cucire al rovescio
