become very hot. Do not touch them in order to avoid burns.

IRONING
• Before ironing delicate fabrics it is best to make trial run on a hidden piece
e.g. the hem.
Iron’s soleplate heat-up much quickly than it cool down, so it is advisable
to iron rst the more delicate fabrics needing low temperatures, then go on
ironing more resistant fabrics needing higher temperatures.
To get steam from soleplate, depress the steam button (15), in a few seconds the
steam begins to come out from iron soleplate. Releasing the steam button (15),
the steam gradually stops.
• By pressing the button (18), a continuous steam ow is obtained.
• During ironing pauses, put the iron on the iron rest (2).
WARNING!
Some drops of water may leak out of the iron soleplate (16) when the rst jet of
steam starts coming out; this is quite normal and is due to condensation forming
inside the iron-boiler connecting tube (8).
This will disappear with the following jets of steam. It is therefore not
recommended to point the rst jet of steam directly on the item to be ironed. The
iron must be used and left at rest on a rm surface.
• To switch off the appliance, turn the on/off switch knob (4) to OFF position
• Unplug the appliance from the outlet.
Put the iron on iron rest (2) and wait for the appliance to completely cool down
before storing it.
Empty the water tank (17) and store the appliance in a safe place, out of reach
of children.
Never wrap the power cord (9) nor the monotube (8) around the iron, but place
them beside. Make sure it does not hang from the resting place causing hazardous
situations
