5. INSTALACIÓN
5.1UBICACIÓNDELCARGADORDEBATERÍAS
- Durante el funcionamiento posicionar el cargador
de baterías de forma estable.
- Evitar levantar el cargador de baterías a través
del cable de alimentación o a través del cable de
carga.
5.2 CONEXIÓN A LA RED
- El cargado de baterías tiene que conectarse
exclusivamente a un sistema de alimentación con
un conductor de neutro conectado a tierra.
Controlar que la tensión eléctrica de red
sea equivalente a la tensión eléctrica de
funcionamiento.
- La línea de alimentación tendrá que equiparse
con sistemas de protección, como fusibles o
interruptores automáticos, sucientes para
soportar la absorción máxima del equipo.
- La conexión a la red tiene que realizarse con un
cable correspondiente.
- Las posibles extensiones del cable de alimentación
tienen que tener una sección adecuada y, de
cualquier forma, nunca inferior al del cable que se
entrega.
6. PROTECCIONES DEL CARGADOR DE
BATERÍAS
El cargador de baterías se autoprotege en caso de:
- Sobrecarga (suministro excesivo de corriente
hacia la batería).
- Cortocircuito (pinzas de carga puestas en
contacto entre ellas).
- Inversión de polaridad en los bornes de la batería.
- El aparato se protege contra sobrecargas,
cortocircuitos e inversión de polaridad mediante
protecciones electrónicas internas.
- El aparato, con pinzas libres, nunca tiene la
salida alimentada eléctricamente, excepto en la
modalidad SUPPLY.
7.CONSEJOSÚTILES
- Limpiar los bornes positivo y negativo de las
posibles incrustaciones de óxido, con el n de
asegurar un buen contacto de las pinzas.
- Si la batería con que se desea usar este cargador
de batería se instala de forma permanente en
un vehículo, también consultar el manual de
instrucciones y/o de mantenimiento del vehículo
en el párrafo “INSTALACIÓN ELÉCTRICA” o
“MANTENIMIENTO”. Preferiblemente desconectar,
antes de proceder a la carga, el cable positivo que
pertenece a la instalación eléctrica del vehículo.
