Außerdem verfügt Ihr Gerät über 2 CI - Schächte zur Aufnahme von
Common Interface Modulen anderer Verschlüsselungssysteme.
Stecken Sie dazu ein CI – Modul des gewünschten
Verschlüsselungssystems in einen der beiden CI – Schächte rechts
unter der Frontklappe des Receivers ein.
Stecken Sie eine geeignete Smartcard des gewünschten
Programmanbieters in das CI - Modul.
Wird nun ein verschlüsseltes Programm angewählt, erkennt der
Receiver automatisch das richtige Modul / die richtige Karte und
schaltet bei gültiger Karte das gewünschte Programm frei.
Im Hauptmenü Ihres Receivers finden Sie die Untermenüs COMMON
INTERFACE und CODITIONAL ACCESS.
Im Menü COMMON INTERFACE finden Sie, falls vorhanden, das
interne Modulmenü Ihres CI – Moduls / Ihrer CI – Module. Wählen
Sie das jeweilige Modul an und drücken OK um in das Menü Ihres
Moduls zu gelangen. Das dort angezeigte Menü ist vom verwendeten
Modul abhängig, lesen Sie hierzu bitte die Anleitung Ihres Moduls.

Im Menü CODITIONAL ACCESS können Sie Informationen zu Ihrer
Viaccess Smartcard abrufen, falls diese in den internen Kartenleser
des Receivers gesteckt ist.
Auch diese Informationen sind abhängig von der verwendeten
Smartcard. (BILD 8-21)
9 Technische Begriffe
Antennenkabel:
Verbindungskabel zwischen Modulator des Satellitenreceivers und
Antenneneingang des Fernsehers, als Alternative, falls keine SCART-
Buchse vorhanden ist
Außeneinheit:
Bezeichnung für das im Freien montierte Gesamtsystem, bestehend
aus Parabol/Offsetspiegel und einem oder mehreren LNBs, zum
Empfang eines oder mehrerer Satelliten
AV: siehe SCART
Datenkompression/MPEG1/MPEG2:
Zur Übertragung des heutigen Fernsehstandards (625 Zeilen und 50
Hz Bildwiederholfrequenz), ergibt sich eine digitale Datenmenge von
216 MBit/s.
Dieses würde Bandbreiten erfordern, die weder terrestrisch noch bei
Satellit zur Verfügung stehen. Daher wird eine Reduzierung der
Datenmenge durch Datenreduktion vorgenommen. Für Europa ist
MPEG-2 als weltweiter Standard für Datenkompression festgelegt
worden. MPEG2 ist eine Erweiterung von MPEG1
Deemphasis:
Anpassung des Audiofrequenzverlaufes an das Sendesignal, ist
durch die Sendeparameter des Satelliten festgelegt
DiSEqC:
Digital Satellite Equipment Control: Ein digitales Steuersignal zum
Steuern DiSEqC-tauglicher Komponenten der Außeneinheit über die
