SMS (Textmeldungen).
Ihr Telefon ist SMS-fähig. Über den SMS-Service der Deutschen Tele-
kom können Sie SMS an jeden Telefon-Anschluss im Festnetz oder
Internet sowie in Mobilfunknetze senden.
Die DSL-Telefonnummer (VoIP-Verbindung) Ihres Telefons, über die
Ihre SMS gesendet werden sollen, können Sie für jedes eingetragene
SMS-Zentrum festlegen (SMS-Sendenummer, s. S. 99). Empfangen
können Sie SMS-Nachrichten (kurz: SMS) über alle DSL-Telefonnum-
mern Ihres Telefons.
Wenn der Empfänger Ihrer SMS im Festnetz oder Internet kein SMS-
fähiges Gerät besitzt, wird ihm die SMS automatisch als Sprachnach-
richt vorgelesen. Diese Sprachnachrichten werden in der Regel direkt
als Telefonanruf bis 23.00 Uhr zugestellt.
Wenn der SMS-Empfänger die SprachBox der Deutschen Telekom
benutzt, wird die SMS dort als neue Sprachnachricht abgelegt.
Speicherkapazität
Abhängig von der Größe der gespeicherten SMS können unterschied-
lich viele SMS in der Basis gespeichert werden. Der Speicher wird
zusammen für Eingangs- und Entwurfsliste verwendet. Wenn der Spei-
cher voll ist, erhalten Sie einen Hinweis. Um weitere SMS erhalten zu
können, löschen Sie bitte die alten SMS im Gerätespeicher.
Hinweis Die Sendenummer des Mobilteils, an dem Sie eine SMS
schreiben und versenden, muss nicht mit der SMS-Sende-
nummer übereinstimmen.
