Verwenden Sie jedoch diesen Adapter, um Zugang in Ihr Sinus 1054 DSL basiertes WLAN zu erhal-

ten, können Sie bei der Eingabe des Verschlüsselungsschlüssels auf diesem Adapter nur die hexade-

zimale Zeichenfolge verwenden. Da aus Sicherheitsgründen keine Norm für das Errechnen von Ver-

schlüsselungsschlüsseln aus Passworten besteht, geben Sie die Zeichen ein, die unter dem gewähl-

ten Schlüssel im Sinus 1054 DSL angezeigt werden.

Ist im Lieferumfang Ihres Rechners (Desktop oder Notebook) bereits eine Ethernet Buchse (LAN-An-

schluss) enthalten, können Sie diesen Anschluss für die kabelgebundene Verbindung zum Router

verwenden.

Ist im Lieferumfang Ihres Rechners (Desktop oder Notebook) ein Modem (Internetanschluss über Te-

lefonnetz (analog oder ISDN)) enthalten, wird es für den Betrieb des Rechners über den Sinus 1054

DSL nicht benötigt. Ist Ihr Rechner ein Notebook, können Sie dieses Modem verwenden, wenn Sie

sich nicht in der Funkreichweite eines Sinus 1054 DSL, eines Zugangspunktes (Access Point) oder

eines Hotspots (öffentlicher Funk-Zugang ins Internet) befinden. Bauen Sie dann die Verbindung über

eine Telefonverbindung auf (beachten Sie dazu die Beschreibung des Modems (analog/ISDN etc.)).
