Eingebaute Sicherheit.
Wenn Sie telefonieren, sind Basisstation und Mobilteil über einen Funkkanal
miteinander in Verbindung. Die Basisstation vermittelt dabei zwischen dem
Telefonnetz und dem Mobilteil. Damit niemand Ihre Gespräche mithören oder
auf Ihre Kosten telefonieren kann, findet zwischen Basisstation und Mobilteil
ständig ein Kennungsaustausch statt. Stimmen die Kennungen nicht überein,
wird die Verbindung mit fremden Mobilteilen gar nicht erst aufgebaut.
Die Geräte bieten durch die digitale Übertragung zwischen Basisstation und
Mobilteil ein sehr hohes Maß an Abhörsicherheit.
Wichtige Einstellungen Ihres Telefons schützen Sie durch eine PIN (Geheim-
zahl), s. Seite 72.
Tastensperre
Bei aktivierter Tastensperre (siehe Seite 22) können Sie Ihr Mobilteil mit sich
tragen, ohne dass versehentlich eine Rufnummer gewählt werden kann.
