Om de steunplaat snel voor te bereiden wordt
een boormal bij de generator geleverd (fig. 10).
In de plaat moeten bevestigingsgaten voor de
trillingsdempers (fig.11 ref.1), een opening voor
de uitlaatpijp (fig.11 ref.2), een opening om bij de
aftapdop van de motorolie te kunnen komen
(fig.11 ref.3) en een opening voor de afvoer van
de warme lucht die door de generator uitgestoten
wordt (fig.11 ref.4) gemaakt worden.
Rondom de opening in de plaat moet om te
voorkomen dat de generator de uitgestoten
warme lucht aanzuigt een afdichting van
hittebestendig geëxpandeerd rubber met
gesloten cellen aangebracht worden; deze
afdichting moet hoog genoeg zijn om een
hermetisch afgesloten luchtruimte tussen de
bodem van de generator en de plaat te creëren
(fig.11 ref.5).
Als de warme lucht opnieuw in de
generator circuleert, stopt het apparaat niet
alleen omdat de temperatuurgrens wordt
bereikt maar kan er ook onherstelbare schade
aan de verbrandingsmotor en de
elektronische printplaat toegebracht worden.
4.3 Aansluiten van de uitlaatdemper
Bij de generator wordt een uitlaatdemperset
geleverd die bestaat uit een demper, een
flexibele stalen pijp en accessoires voor de
aansluiting op de generator en de bevestiging.
Het eerste wat u moet doen is de meegeleverde
koppeling (fig.12 ref.3) aan de inwendige uitlaat
van de generator (fig.12 ref.1) bevestigen en de
afdichting (fig.12 ref.2) ertussen plaatsen.
