When the temperature inside the vehicle has

reached the same level as the outside tempera-

ture, close the doors and windows and start the

air conditioning system, opening the doors and

windows only if needed.

5.2 Preliminary checks

Before switching on the air conditioner for the very

rst time:

• On the external unit, check that the side and

rear ventilation grilles are clear and that the

condensate drain holes are not obstructed.

• Check that power supply voltage and frequen-

cy match the required specications

• Check that air ow through ducts and vents is

unobstructed. To ensure maximum air condi-

tioner e󰀩ciency, ensure the external ventilation

grilles are unobstructed at all times.

 Whenrst switched onusingthe remote

control, ventilation and compressor start

afterafewseconds.Afterswitchingo,the

compressor will not restart until at least 3

minutes have passed.

5.3 Useful tips

• Improve the thermal insulation of the camper

by plugging any openings and covering glass

surfaces with heat-reecting curtains.

• Avoid frequent opening/closing of windows un-

less necessary.

• Select a suitable temperature and airow rate.

• Adjust the outow vents to maximise comfort.

• Clean the di󰀨user lters periodically.

• Do not obstruct the airow inlets/outlets with

fabric, paper or objects.

• Do not spray water inside the air conditioner.

• Remove the remote control battery if you do

not plan to use the air conditioner for a pro-

longed period.

• Periodically check that the condensate drain

holes are free from obstruction.

• Periodically check that external intake grilles

are unobstructed so as to maintain maximum

air conditioner e󰀩ciency.

• Clean the air conditioner with detergent solu-

tions only; never use petrol or solvents.

• During winter garaging or long periods without

use, disconnect the air conditioner from the

power socket.

5.4 Installing batteries in the remote

control

1. Open the battery

compartment cov-

er by pressing the

tab and lifting it up.

2. Insert two new

LR03 1.5V AAA

batteries, accord-

ing to the indicated

polarity.

3. Slide the battery

compartment cov-

er back into place.
