Preparação do cartucho

1) Antes de proceder às operações a seguir

indicadas, lave cuidadosamente as mãos.

2) Verifique se a saqueta do cartucho não está

perfurada antes de a desembalar

(fig. 1). Se a

saqueta estiver perfurada, não utilize o cartucho.

3) Mergulhe o cartucho num recipiente com água

potável fria (+4°C/+30°C) durante 15 minutos e

agite-o para eliminar as bolhas de ar

(fig. 2).

Deixe o cartucho dentro de água durante 15

minutos.

4) Após os 15 minutos de imersão, introduza o

cartucho no respectivo compartimento

empurrando-o firmemente

(fig. 3).

5) Encha o depósito com água fria da torneira até

ao nível máximo e deixe filtrar sem colocar a

tampa

(fig. 4).

6) Deite a água fora (ou utilize-a para regar as

plantas). As primeiras filtrações podem ter uma

cor escurecida devido às partículas de carvão

existentes na água. Não existe qualquer perigo

em termos de saúde.

7) Repita a operação 3 vezes (pontos 5 e 6),

enchendo sucessivamente o jarro até ao nível

máximo e esvaziando a água imediatamente a

seguir à filtração.

8) Retire o cartucho e coloque-o sobre uma

superfície limpa (por exemplo um prato). Lave

todos os componentes.

9) Coloque o reservatório na unidade principal.

Coloque o cartucho no filtro anti-sedimentos. Por

fim, introduza o conjunto (cartucho + filtro anti-

sedimentos) no depósito.
