Preparación del cartucho
filtrante
1) Antes de proceder a las siguientes operaciones,
lávese cuidadosamente las manos.
2) Compruebe que la bolsa que contiene el cartucho
no está perforada antes de retirar el embalaje
(fig. 1). En caso de estarlo, no utilice el cartucho.
3) Sumerja el cartucho en un recipiente con agua
potable fría (+4°C/+30°C) durante 15 minutos y
agítelo para eliminar las burbujas de aire
(fig. 2).
Deje sumergido el cartucho durante 15 minutos.
4) Cuando hayan transcurrido los 15 minutos de
inmersión, introduzca el cartucho en su ubicación
correspondiente empujándolo con fuerza
(fig. 3).
5) Rellene el depósito con agua corriente fría hasta
el nivel máximo y deje que se filtre sin colocar la
tapa
(fig. 4).
6) Tire el agua (o empléela para regar las plantas).
Las primeras filtraciones podrían tener un color
oscuro a causa de las partículas de carbón
dispersas en el agua. Este fenómeno no resulta
peligroso para la salud humana.
7) Repita la operación 3 veces (puntos 5 y 6),
rellenando sucesivamente la jarra hasta el nivel
máximo, y vaciando el agua justo después del
filtrado.
8) Reitre el cartucho y deposítelo sobre una
superficie limpia (un plato, por ejemplo). Lave
todas las piezas.
9) Coloque el depósito en la unidad principal.
Coloque el cartucho en el filtro antisedimento. Por
último, introduzca el conjunto (cartucho + filtro
antisedimento) en el depósito.
