เปิดสวิตช์: กาต้มน้ำควรทำงานอีกครั้งหลังพักใช้งานประมาณ 15 นาที
• น้ำมีกลิ่นของพลาสติก:
ตามปกติแล้วจะเกิดจากกาต้มน้ำใหม่ที่ยังไม่เคยใช้งาน, เทน้ำจากการต้ม 2-3 ครั้งแรกทิ้ง
หากยังคงมีปัญหาให้เติมน้ำจนถึงจะดับสูงสุดแล้วเติมโซดาไบคาบอนเนตสองช้อนชา ต้มจนเดือดแล้วจึงเทน้ำทิ้ง
หากกาต้มน้ำผ่านการตกพื้น หากมีการรั่วซึมหรือมีร่องรอยความเสียหายชัดเจนที่สายไฟ ปลั๊กหรือฐานของกาต้มน้ำ
