Note: If you fail to input the PIN code 3 times in succession, the SIM card will be locked.
Please contact your network operator for a PUK code and further instruction to unlock
your SIM card.
Phone Security
For added security, you can set a password for your phone every time it is powered ON.
1. In Standby mode, press the Left Soft key to access the main menu.
2. Use the Navigation key to select Settings > Security Settings > Phone
security to access the submenu.
3. Edit the phone lock settings to customise your password:
Phone lock: Set password protection for your phone. (Default password: 0000)
Change Password: Enables you to change the Phone Password.
Auto Lock Keypad
Locking the screen can prevent accidental contact with the screen when the phone is in
a bag, purse or pocket.
1. In Standby mode, press the Left Soft key to access the main menu.
2. Use the Navigation key to select Settings > Security Settings > Auto Keypad
Lock.
