De gebruikersdetectie is een veiligheidsfunctie die voor het stoppen van de loopband zorgt wanneer de band loopt zonder dat er iemand op loopt of rent.
Deze functie wordt geactiveerd wanneer de band met een snelheid van 3 km/h of hoger loopt.
Als er bij een snelheid van 3 km/h of hoger, gedurende 30 seconden geen gebruiker wordt gedetecteerd, stopt de band en wordt de oefening gepauzeerd.
Bij de minimumsnelheid wordt de gebruiker alleen gedetecteerd als hij/zij minstens 50 kg weegt.
