Ton und Text, also für Daten in jeder denkbaren Form und in jeder möglichen, jeweils
angemessenen Qualität.

Electronic Program Guide = Elektronische Programmzeitschrift.
Die elektronische Programmzeitschrift ist eine Zusatzfunktion vieler DVB-Empfangsgeräte.
Diese kann die von den Sendeanstalten übermittelten Sendungsinformationen, sofern
vorhanden, dem Benutzer graphisch auf dem Bildschirm darstellen und ermöglicht so einen
Überblick über die aktuellen Sendungen. In TechniSat-Geräten ist diese Programmzeitschift
mit SFI bzw. SFI bezeichnet und enthält weitere Zusatzfunktion.

Festplatte
Festplatten stammen aus der Computertechnik. Auf ihnen werden digitale Daten magnetisch
gespeichert. Mit diesem Gerät können externe Festplatten dazu verwendet werden, um
Sendungen aufzuzeichnen. Durch die digitale Aufzeichnung werden Qualitätsverluste ver-
mieden und es können alle vom Sender ausgestrahlten Informationen gespeichert werden.
Außerdem können auf Festplatten Bilder (JPG) und Musiktitel (MP3) gespeichert werden.
