PRIMA DEL PRIMO UTILIZZO
Per un perfetto funzionamento, utilizzare acqua fredda per pulire l’apparecchio da eventuali
residui di lavorazione. Accenderlo, farlo funzionare e, quando l’apparecchio si è
completamente raffreddato, ripetere il procedimento per tre volte prima di risciacquarlo.
FUNZIONAMENTO
Staccare sempre l’apparecchio dalla presa di corrente prima di riempirlo.
Aprire il coperchio e riempire la caraffa facendo attenzione a non andare oltre il livello
massimo o al disotto del livello minimo.
Chiudere bene il coperchio e inserire la spina nella presa di corrente.
Attaccare la spina alla presa di corrente. Controllare che la spia si accenda
(l’apparecchio è in funzione).
L’acqua continuerà a bollire fino a che l’apparecchio resta acceso e l’elemento
riscaldante sarà coperto.
Se l’apparecchio viene azionato senza acqua al suo interno, un dispositivo di sicurezza
spegnerà automaticamente l’elettrodomestico per evitare danni.
E’ possibile spegnere il bollitore quando si vuole, semplicemente staccando la spina.
Leggere le avvertenze nella prima parte del presente manuale.
PROTEZIONE CONTRO IL SURRISCALDAMENTO
Questo bollitore è dotato di un sistema di protezione contro il surriscaldamento che
arresta automaticamente l'apparecchio se questo viene acceso accidentalmente vuoto.
Se si verifica questo, spegnere l'apparecchio. Attendere 10 minuti affinché tutte le parti si
raffreddino. Quindi versare acqua fredda in modo da coprire gli elementi riscaldanti.
Questa operazione è sufficiente per sbloccare il sistema di protezione. Il bollitore torna a
funzionare regolarmente.
PULIZIA E MANUTENZIONE
Prima di procedere alla pulizia, assicurarsi che l’apparecchio non sia collegato alla presa
di corrente e che si sia completamente raffreddato.
Per pulire le parti esterne, usare un panno leggermente umido ed asciugarle con un
panno morbido. Non utilizzare prodotti abrasivi.
In nessun caso né la caraffa né la base devono essere immerse in acqua.
DISINCROSTAZIONE
Per rimuovere eventuali incrostazioni (calcare,…), utilizzare prodotti concepiti apposta per
questo scopo. Assicurarsi che siano prodotti compatibili con oggetti in plastica.
