equipped with this kind of filter, it is forbidden to place the lid on the deep fryer when it is
in use, as this could cause fire or oil overflow. For this kind of fryer the lid should only be
used for storing and moving (as soon as the deep fryer has cooled down).
REMARK: the fondue can reach high temperatures when in use. Oil and fat preparations
might catch fire if overheated. Be extremely cautious never to leave your appliance in use
for long periods. Do not forget to unplug the appliance once your preparation is ready
and the fondue is no longer in use. Before pulling the mains plug, switch the temperature
selector to the lowest position.
Provide proper ventilation when using the appliance.
Keep out of reach of children and ensure that the cable does not overhang the
worksurface.

BEFORE USE
Remove all packaging from the fryer including the items inside the fryer
Before you use the deep fat fryer for the first time, we recommend that you wash the inner
bowl, basket, and the fondue accessories with hot soapy water. Dry thoroughly -this will
remove any residue from the manufacturing process.
Attach the handle to the basket by pressing it (step 1) before inserting it into the
corresponding loops on the basket (step 2).
USE OF THE DEEP FAT FRYER
FIRST USE
When using the appliance for the first time, pour the required amount of oil in the bowl,
making sure that the level is between the MIN and MAX marks indicated inside the bowl.
We recommend that you use a liquid oil that is suitable for deep fat frying. Check the
label on the bottle. If you wish to use a solid fat, cut the fat in small pieces. Plug it into an
electrical outlet. Put the thermostat on the minimum position and add the fat pieces
slowly. When the fat has melted, set the thermostat to the desired temperature. WARNING:
FAILURE TO OBSERVE THIS WILL DAMAGE YOUR DEEP FAT FRYER.
