preparation is ready and the fryer is no longer in use. Before pulling the mains plug, switch
the temperature selector to "MIN".
Provide proper ventilation when using the appliance.
If you wish to use solid fat, cut it into small pieces and place them into the bowl. Turn the
temperature knob to its minimum position. Each time the green indicator lamp goes out,
turn the temperature knob to a slightly higher temperature until all the fat has melted.
Once all the fat has melted, set the temperature knob to the desired cooking
temperature. This type of fat will solidify when the appliance cools down.
Your appliance must never be switched on through an external timer or any kind of
separate remote control system.
Keep out of the reach of children and ensure that the cable does not hang over the work
surface.

avoid all danger. In case of need you should return the appliance to this electrician.
BEFORE USE
• Remove all packaging from the fryer including the items inside the fryer.
• Before you use the deep fat fryer for the first time, we recommend that you wash the inner
bowl, basket, and the fondue accessories with hot soapy water. Dry thoroughly - this will
remove any residue from the manufacturing process.
• Attach the handle to the basket by pressing it (step 1) before inserting it into the
corresponding loops in the basket (step 2).
USE OF THE DEEP FAT FRYER
FIRST USE
• When using the appliance for the first time, pour the required amount of oil into the bowl,
making sure that the level is between the MIN and MAX marks indicated inside the bowl.
• We recommend that you use a liquid oil that is suitable for deep fat frying. Check the
label on the bottle. If you wish to use a solid fat, cut the fat into small pieces. Plug the
appliance into an electrical outlet. Put the thermostat on the minimum position and add
the pieces of fat slowly. When the fat has melted, set the thermostat to the desired
temperature. WARNING: FAILURE TO OBSERVE THIS WILL DAMAGE YOUR DEEP FAT FRYER.
